My wife keeps bugging me to come to a GTG...but we'd have to bring the kids! Maybe a park?

Ideas?!?

Boston Driver's wife, A4MAdman's wife, etc. and I'd be hosed.

There is ZERO upside for me to have my wife at a GTG. :-)

Now I have brought my son a couple of times, and I think my daughter (18 years old, a bit of a gear-head) would go for it, but then I'd have to worry about her getting hit on by some of "you poeple". :-)

Don't get me wrong. I love my wife and loving hanging out with her but Grapeking, BostonDriver and myself have made a pack that our wives must never meet... and if by chance they were to meet we would need to get one of those red flashy thingies that Tommy Lee Jones used in Men In Black to erase their memories back to a place in time before they met.

what, single young guys who are nuts about their cars hit on an 18 yo girl who shows up at a GTG and apparently likes cars too? neeeever.... =P

Colt State Park in Bristol, RI. It was a great location with a large turnout. There was plenty of open grass space adjacent to the parking area for our kids to play and we even packed a picnic lunch for the afternoon.

I'd welcome a gtg at a nice family friendly park!

AND you guys are right, if our wives meet? ... we are doomed ..... THEY would probably have their own GTG!!

It would keep them busy...all in separate areas of the park! hehe

since I could use some extra storage bins for all the Audi crap in my basement!!!

to spread the word that all this modding is really great and wives/girlfriends/significant others everywhere should wholeheartedly support it? because i for one would love to stop getting wierd looks from my girlfriend for being how i am about my car
