Do any of the Toronto natives have opinions they'd like to share with me about local dealers?
I want to go and order an A4, but so far, of the dealers I have been to, only 1 has been ok.
The Agincourt salesman, Sigmar, was the only one thus far who told me that if I ordered now the car would be built in January and arrive in the begining of March.
The Queensway salesman, Hans, told me I could have the car I wanted in roughly a month. He also kind of rushed our chat, I think it was because I was wearing my Browns hat and jeans.
The Bramgate VW lady, wants me to order, then wants to do some closed door magic and let me know if such a car is available or when it would be available.
None of the salesreps seem to know anything about the 99.5 changes, even though Audi now has them on their site.
I guess I'm just curious to hear about other experiences with the local dealers.
If it's going to clog the forum e-mail replies would be cool too.
Kevin
PS - Haven't checked out Downtown Fine Cars yet.
I checked out many dealers in Toronto and Ottawa before going with Agincourt. Best deal, and pretty good pre-sales service. Haven't tried the post-sales service yet, but they seem very well equipped and have convenient extended hours. Downtown Fine Cars has a higher operating cost because of location, and that's reflected in pricing. Nice Porsches though.

Hans at Queensway sold me my used 94 90CS. He was pretty good, knew a lot about the car, recommended an independent repair shop to get my car serviced at, and I got the car for $2,000 less than they were asking.
