My new commute takes me down rte. 24 and along rte.140 in Mass. at pretty early times. While I love the fact that this is a quick moving reverse commute, I've come to be VERY aware that there are no shortage of State police along the route. I'm thinking of getting some kind of radar dectection device, but I'm not sure whether my money would be better spend on a V1 or the Lidatek system. Does anyone have any experience that would lead you to prefer one over the other?

FWIW, twice in the last month I have encountered state cops running laser -- once on 93 and once on the pike. I figure the LE-30 has quite possibly paid for itself already.

Just so we're on the same page, you're aware that the Lidatek unit and the V1 are complementary, not competitors, right? There is no radar functionality in the Lidatek, and no laser jammer in the V1.

I do get that they are complimentary, but I didn't really want to shell out for both (I know, being cheap is never the answer). Perhaps I'll get the V1 first, and then add the LE-30 later.
