You said you were thinking about doing a short shifter? Done, waiting, or just put on hold for better things?

Right now I am in the process of moving so a bunch of my money is tied up in buying new couches and deposit and crap. I am doing a snub mount (I hope) at GlastonburyA4's place on the 27th. I don't know if you know about the get together or not but there are quite a few people coming from NY and NJ. You should come too. I will forward the e-mail if you are interested. Anyways, I think that the short shifter will come after the 40k checkup and then I will probably get the windows tinted. How 'bout yourself? Anything new? We said before that we were going to get together once a month but nothing has happened since. Maybe we will get better about it.

I am actually waiting on an install for my GIAC Chip and KW V2 coil overs. I didn't hear about the get together but I will be in NJ that week on vacation. I would like to start meeting up and talking about the cars, or doing some mods. Let me know, what was the screen name or email of your friend?

It was Chris who was looking for a house. I am still renting becuase I may be relocating with my job within the next couple of years. I am stoked about the condo that I am renting though becuase it has a garage.

The get together that I mentioned before was an invite get together becuase we were going to install a full system into GlastonburyA4's car. I think that it just wasn't published here but there was some talk about it on the main b5 board.

Man, I really want to do the chip but I am worried about my warranty. Have you had any service done at Valenti yet? Did they give you any crap about the shifter or any other mods? I have my 40k coming up in a month or so, so I am a little hesitant to start modding just yet.

Anyways, my buddies name is Chris and I don't have his e-mail off hand. I can give it to you tomorrow when I go to work. I haven't even heard from him since our last meet. I will have to send him an e-mail tomorrow. He probably found a house and has been busy with all that.

I am not sure how far you live from watertown, but I am done with them. I have seen them since the short shifter, no problems there, but they have warned me that the short shifter is the only thing they will allow.

But I talked to PES Tuning in PA about a chip, and a couple of other things, and they told me Danbury Audi sells PES Tuning's kits and that the service manager is really cool about chips and suspension and other mods. So I plan on taking my buisness to them for the duration of the warranty (little less than 2 years). I would look into it.
