View Full Version : Tuners in CT..... Stratocaster1422 03-26-2003, 09:10 AM http://www.speedsporttuning.net/ anybody ever get anything done with these guys? mnemonic 03-26-2003, 03:41 PM Ive talked to them, nice enough, but $80/hr rate...kinda of high in my opinion. There is also autotechnik in New Milford. They will do some work (mostly work on beamers), but they estimated 5 hrs for snub mount. Im thinking AutoTechnik for Suspension, possible exhaust and SpeedSport Tuning for chip and such. Dave Stratocaster1422 03-27-2003, 06:24 AM I just can't solder my chip in, and I dont really want to spend an extra $160 on labor. mnemonic 03-27-2003, 06:54 AM they estimated -> $499(Chip)+$149(flip program)+$80(1hour install) = $728 before tax It hurts..but everybody says its worth it. Im going with suspension first $900 Koni Coilovers. Dave A99A4 03-29-2003, 08:47 PM charged me like $100 bucks to do the chip and like $150 or $200 for the forge BPV and install. Their shop has been there for many (10 to 15+ ) years but they have recently added on to it/started a new section/division and now do specialized stuff for 1.8T's, WRX,EVO's, and many other highly tuneable cars. And by the way...chip is a world of difference...well worth the money by far! Good Luck |
