I just got a new Motorola V60 with Verizon service and I have noticed crappy reception on the Mass Pike and 128 between Waltham and Lexington. Also seem to get crap reception at my office in Concord and in my apartment in the South End.

Does this sound unusual for Verizon?

I work in Waltham off exit 27 off the 128. Sprint PCS works fine around here, but Verizon wasn't so good. But then again, Sprint isn't as good in Cambridge as Verizon seemed to be.

I've had Verizon with the V60C since March and have had no problems with the reception, except at my house. At the house I can only use the phone in one room and it barely even works outside. I guess the antennas are just beyond a hill...I would love to have them put one in closer.

The V60C has antenna problems, mine fell off once already. When the antenna was off I didn't get service at all...barely even an analog signal. If I were you, I'd take it to a service center and have them check to see that the phone is ok.

Way better than Suckulair.
