This is the final repost for the Mt. Greylock drive this Sunday, 9/22/02.
Weather is predicted to be 78 degrees and partly cloudy... great turbo weather!
So far, there are 8-10 cars going, but more would be great. If you live in CT or MA and are even considering going, you DEFINITELY should. It will fun and a great way to relax on a weekend day.
We plan to meet in Winsted, CT at 11:00 AM in the Ames parking lot on Rt. 44. For people who need directions, please email me and I'll help you out. I know that several people are coming down from Boston for the drive.
From there, we will head north into Massachusetts and up to Mt. Greylock, the highest point in the state. Find more information about it at the attached link.
If you wish, pack a snack or light lunch for the trip. On the way back, we will stop in Southwick, MA for an early dinner at Roma Restaurant. Great italian food!
Bring your FRS radios tuned to Channel 4, subchannel 4 to talk to each other. There will probably be some people with extra radios if you don't have one.
Please drop me an email if you get the chance and are thinking of coming, although if you just show up it would be great as well. Also email me if you need directions/information/etc.
