Hey gf and i are looking for a modern bed frame low to the ground(for our super old beagle), doesn't have to be anything crazy nice just sturdy and something that doesn't need a boxspring any suggestions other than Scandinavians designs?

put a phone book at each corner

we have a a box spring, so its not like its just a mattress on the ground. all it would do for me is create a place to misplace remotes and lighters. is there any other prupose other than aesthetics?

find its been more comfortable than the regular mattress plus box spring I had prior.
