what a great ride!

NeverSummer joined me for BMW Club 100K ride. I had a blast. Lots of great high speed twisties that took us 501 miles around Colorado.

we covered the following passes:
Squaw Pass Elevation 9,807
Juniper Pass Elevation 11,140
Loveland Pass Elevation 11,982
Gore Pass Elevation 9,527
Rabbit Ears Pass Elevation 9,426
Muddy Pass Elevation 8,772
Milner Pass Elevation 10,758
Fall River Pass Elevation 11,796
Trail Ridge Pass Elevation 12,183
Berthoud Pass Elevation 11,315

thats 10 passes with a total elevation of 106,706 ft.

How did the guy on the buell do? I had to replace the seat on mine to the Buell Select Seat..stocker killed my arse ;)

He has a nice corbin seat which probably helped. When he logs in, I'll let him post for himself about how it felt to ride for that far.

I also have a Buell gun fighter seat that I use for when I have a passenger on board and I can't stand it. The bike is comfortable enough for the long ride. I just need some way to lock the throttle at times so I can give my right hand a break now and then.

Overall the ride was great and the bike can handle a lot more then I can throw at it. I notice some loss of power in the higher altitudes but I run the full race kit on my bike so that helps. Join us next year and it will be an experience to talk about for weeks.

I did a Muller Power Clutch on mine too..helped w/ the left hand ;)

go with 7/8" bars for a mini and you will love them.

Where did you get your clutch at?
