Reminder about the midnight drive next Friday evening, May 18th. We will be meeting at the Barnes & Noble shortly after 11pm, and trekking West to Lookout Mountain. The <b>$200 Avalon Gift Certificate</b> raffle will be held in the parking lot at the United Artists theatres, Denver West.
Please chime in if you are planning on coming. Also, a few side notes:
- This drive will not be a free-for-all speed fest. We will travel single or, maximum, double file down the highway to Lookout Mtn. Once we get there we will have a spirited but safe drive up the mountain, and back down the other side. You are representing yourselves as well as the entire VAG/Euro community, so please keep in mind that we will be VERY visible to the community and law enforcement agents as well ;)
- We will have a waiver to sign before we leave B & N. Pain the *** or not, it is a necessary precautionary measure to protect Avalon against any claims that may arise. Hopefully there will be no need to even entertain the thought of having to deal with significant injuries or accidents.
- The raffle tickets will be $5 each. There is no limit to the number of tickets that you may purchase, however you WILL need to be present afterwards at the UA theatre lot to receive your prize.
-We will leave B&N shortly after Midnight, so please arrive early enough to ensure that you are able make the drive with the rest of the drivers.
- Again, this drive is not exclusive to "Avalon customers, staff, etc". This is intended to be a fun and safe event for all European auto enthisiasts in the RM region. Please do not exclude yourself because you are not familiar with us or any other group or individual locally. There should be a nice turn out, and we look forward to seeing you there!
