View Full Version : What oil do you turbo guys use? M1 5W-40? Walmart at 92nd and Sheridan had 5 gallons

It was labelled for diesel trucks though, if that makes a difference.

Switched to pentosyn and the sample was much better.

Though the "Big Kahuna" oil filter might be a little long for my car.

Amsoil 0W-30 (I dunno, it's expensive)
Amsoil 5W-40 (SMOOOOOOOTH)

However, because of a valve cover gasket leak, and a separate incident involving using an old crush washer, I've consumed about $150+ in Amsoil and emergency replacement oil. F that.

No more fancy oil for me. I'm sticking to Castrol Syntec 5W-40.
