View Full Version : Any tricks to getting good tickets through tickemasters to the Who concert? Reggie 09-15-2006, 09:14 AM I've always done the telephone thing. IS the online purchase usefull? wagongotya 09-15-2006, 09:19 AM I used to call ticketmaster about 10-15 before the tix went on sale. Get connected to an agent and have them look up random events that were currently on sale that I had no interest in attending. You keep BS'ing with them until the tickets you actually want go on sale. That way you have an agent on line who can just look up your tickets right then instead of having to try and get a hold of someone right when the other million people are trying. It works, trust me:) Reggie 09-15-2006, 09:23 AM wagongotya 09-15-2006, 09:25 AM Matt Daniels 09-15-2006, 07:18 PM A co-worker of mine waiting in line at the box office for the recent Tool concert and was able to get us 3rd row seats. He said only 10-15 people max were in line when they went on sale. Everybody tries to do the internet and phone thing now, nobody want to wait in line. Now of course, The Who might be different, they'll be catering to a bunch of old baby boomers that may not even know that the internet exists and hate to use rotary dials to use the phone. ;-) |
