5:10 am today, I got nailed in Nebraska 72/45 on US 385. On a road I am very familiar with, but paying more attention to the radio than to the fact that the speed limit dropped. I saw the cop (Alliance, Ne. city cop), glanced my speedo, and @#$^&^&^$()%$# got on the brakes. He pulled a u-turn and pulled me over. Of course as soon as I saw him start the u-turn I started to look for a place to pull over.

I plead stupidity, and gave him my reason, he let me off with a written warning.

97 in a 65 in my old A4 with all body/engine work..

Cop: "license and registration please"

Me: "OK"

Cop: (comes back to my car with license, etc) "I know you know what you are doing, but just be careful for the other person out here, I'm not issuing you a ticket" (proceeded to rattle off statistics of HWY accidents, perhaps the nicest hwy patrolman I have ever encountered).

Me: "Yes sir, thank you"

Cop: "No problem"

That's cool. His discretion as always.

shop, that had built your race engines. I stfa and couldn't find the name or #, could you post the info again? Basically I'm lookin to change the single headlight on my SV650 (non-sport) into the sport projector light w/fairing, might require some fabrication... TIA!!!
