I got the following as an estimated cost from The Home Depot for my 3 car garage:
1) $1500 - 1 layer epoxy coating - 1 year warranty
2) $1900 - 2 layer epoxy coating - 2 year warranty
3) $2500 - 3 layer epoxy coating - 3 year warranty
Has anyone in the Denver area done this through Home Depot or anyone else?
How did it turn out?
Would you recommend them or anyone else?
Thanks in advance.

I did my home garage myself with the Rubbermaid system that I bought at Home Depot, I think it took two kits for my 2-car garage. It has peeled in a couple of places, but I think it would have been better on a new (clean) floor).
At the shop I put on garage floor/cement paint after first ethcing the paint with acid cleaner. I think it took a couple of five gallon buckets for our ~1500sf shop. It's held up pretty well.

the equiv. of 150 grit sandpaper. Grinder will achieve this in roughly 4hrs. You can use TSP or acid for etching, but we have had much better results with grinding. Guirys carries a benjamin moore line that is a two part epoxy. The rustoleum product from home depot is ****. I had to strip a floor that we did in this product because it did not hold up. So far, the Benjamin Moore line has been fantastic. Email with any further questions. And just to compare, we charge roughly 2.25 per sq ft for one coat. You can rent grinder for about $200.00 per day.

I used rusteleoum's (sp?) 2-part epoxy from home depot and it's coming up after 3 years of hard use - dragging air tools and jacks etc. Wish I had gone commercial grade or stain & sealed it.
good luck!

regardless of what is ordered
hasn't started pulling up in the least, but it's only been a year and a half.I rebuilt my engine on my jeep, so I've had pretty much everything on it, including oil, antifreeze, tranny and gear oils, various cleaners (brake cleaner) and I take a mob and it's like new.
I've heard that there is a 3M product that is the absolute best, but you'll need to grind the floor first to do it. (probably recomended anyway if you have any stains or heavy use before you do it, mine was a brand new floor, with only a few months of light use)
