Project. They tried to get Golden's Mayor or anyone from SCARE to appear on the program. They all refused to respond to vm or to recommend anyone else to appear on the program.

They tried to keep the program to deal with the facts - but most of the residents who called in and opposed to the new tower were vastly uninformed. [I'll ignore the fact that they all bought homes under the tower knowing what it was like - and complain about the risks yet accept the risks because they won't sell and move.]

All of the complaints they had about garage door openers not working or other effects were all due to the FM antenna that are there (and not part of the LCC towers) operation outside of the specified power.

When presented with data to show the single tower would be less tall - less emission - refused to acknowledge those facts.

When they tried to say there were other better places for a tower - refused to acknowledge that the FM stations and other TV channels (Fox 31) put their towers there because it is the best place in the whole front range. They also did not care that a new antenna would be subject to the same SCARE tactics of NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) - plus a new site would have people who are living in a place who did not expect a tower to go in - whereas the present towers have been there for decades - long before home or the people living in them bought there.

2009 the stations will convert to Digital HD there at the existing towers - no one can prevent that. In the meantime most residents of the front range can not get HD for free over the air and have to pay for it thru Directv, Dish, or Comcast. Sometimes this forces people to pay for multiple recievers in their house - as many have these services but not to all the tvs in the house and use OTA for some of the tvs.

get more local HD channels right now pointing my dish at Cheyenne. I get Fox, Channel 4(Broncos) and channel 2. Then other channels in HD off the dish. Weren't they originally supposed to have HD everywhere by 2006 at one time?!?

I can't pick up those channels! I have a 9ft long antenna on a 2-story house too!!! I guess the couple trees that partially block a perfect straight on view to the CO springs towers is enough to disrupt it. :(

I cannot believe all the negitive about this HD tower. They will remove 3 towers, at least one of them taller than the proposed, and replace it with one. Only an idiot would say no to this.

It works great. Took a good 2/3 weeks of fine tuning it all, but the only channel I occasionally have an issue with is ABC, and that's during the daytime for some reason.
