the other forum.
I haven't gotten involved in it as much as Ted and Jordan. So far the discussion has stayed fairly professional!

No matter what you do there will always be someone who thinks you did it wrong. Some people will never be happy till you just kick their ass in the quarter mile, so that's usually where I choose my battles;)
You accomplished exactly what you set out to do, and I think you did a great job at that. The car sounds like it's running great!
Van, I think I'm going to do the BMW auto-x on the 11th, are you in?

I put down 200 uncorrected whp at super rupair a couple of weeks ago with the j31 file. I guess we will have to see this summer with some 1/4 mile times.

we ran a couple of (actually 3) totally stock cars on the dyno. We used fairly common correction factors to calculate the crank HP for each car and came up within a HP or 2 of the manufacturers claim for crank HP/TQ.

these #'s are really high since our regular correction factors for drivetrain loss should be 22-23%, and we only came up with 11%.
Hell, a stock B6 should only put out 170chp & 166ctq....the wheel tq on the dyno was more than what audi claims on crank tq
