Friday night, Pulling out of King Soopers on 120th, some bone-head punk in fully riced Civic, came tearing out of the drive on the back side of Kings. running the stop sign, to make the right turn on 120th, and almost slid into the side of us. Scared the *%^$# out of the wife, me too come to think of it. He then took off down 120th.

At the first light we came to, he was right next to us. I put the window down and chewed him out. His only response, F*** you. When the light went green he took off and started weaving through traffic, passing in the turn lanes and all. I called the cops, and tried to keep him in sight without endangering anyone else.

As we got to the light at 120th and Washington, lo and behold a Thornton Motorcycle cop sitting there. My wife got out and walked over to the cop and told him about the kid.

The cop told me to stay put when the light went green and to let him in front of me. I stayed, the cars in the left lane started to go through the intersection, then this kid pulled through the intersection, the cop pulled out behind kid, and hit his lights and siren.

The kid pulled into the Conoco and cop went up to talk to him. As the cop was talking to him, another Thornton cop pulled up, this one in a cruiser. That cop came up to talk to me. While talking to him, my wife nudged me, I turned and noticed the M/C cop had the kid out of the car, spread against the side of the car.

The other cop went to help the M/C cop, next thing I know they are handcuffing this kid and walking him back to the cruiser.

Another cop car pulled up, this one a cop I know, he had me fill out a police report on what we observed, then they turned us loose. My wife and I went and got a bite, on the way back (30 minutes later) they were loading the Civic on a rollback, and there were now 5 cop cars in the parking lot.

About 9pm last night I got a call from the cop that I know, turns out, when the M/C cop was talking to the kid, he could smell pot inside the car, and saw what later turned out to be a 9mm round laying on the passengers floor. The K9 was called, and they found several small baggies of joints in the trunk of the car, a 9mm under the drivers seat, and lit joint in the ashtray. Not to mention driving on a revoked license. I figure that's one less ricer to worry about.

ass. He deserved it if he was that stupid. Glad you didn't get shot! I tried callin the CSP for a drunk driver one morning when I was on my way to work. The guy was driving between 35-75. He was swerving so bad he went off the road, into a ditch and almost flipped his truck. I never heard anything from the CSP though.

we have way to many of those punks up here around 120th. And not to forget about all the little ship box cars with 4 different primer colored body panels or the cars that are all banged up and they drive like asses. I have lost count of how many times we have almost been hit by them..

I am also waiting for one of these wrong offset wheels on these pickups to break off the hub and end up on my hood.
