On the way back to Denver today from picking up a load in Nebraska, I saw looked like tracks in the median of I-76 where someone slid off the road.
Sure enough there were tracks, they left the road at an angle, must have been going at a high speed, when they hit the center of the median they never slowed, they then hit a center cross over.
You can tell that they were still really moving as whatever vehicle it was plowed nose first against the rise of the cross over, they then went airborne (clumps of dirt on crossover but no tire marks), landed about a foot on the other side of the cross over, then continued about another 20'. After that, there were lots of foot prints, and obvious signs that the vehicle was winched out.
