So I have been having some flat tire issues. I seem to have slow leaks in at least 3 of my tires. Tehy randomly turn up very low. Always at different locations so I know it is not someone letting air out.

This morning my right front was totally dead! Won't even inflate!

I have been putting off buying wheels and tires for a couple of reasons. A)not sure what I want yet B) wanted to wear these ones down a bit.

So here are the options.

A) buy two new tires for the existing wheels and maybe face the same deamons. (and keep a tire size and wheels I don't really like )

B) buy a set of Fliks with tires to get me by until I find something I really want.

C) buy a set of wheels from someone locally to accomplish the same as option B.

D) scramble to make up my mind and drop too much money on wheels I may not really like anyway.



I have no spare for this car and am "Audi-less" at the moment until I get tires/wheels on it!

Sounds like you existing wheels are bad - cracked or bad materials

Don't settle for something you do not want, you'll spend more $$ that way. Try to figure out what you want

I would take them to Tire Source in Boulder if you are not too far away. Ask for Pete. They are reputable and can tell you what is up. I'd bet the valves are old and leaky. If they are B5 S4 Avus wheels, those are tanks in my opinions so it's probably not the wheels unless you like to bash into curbs.

My spare is REALLY bent. Came that way with the car. The rest seem fine, just leak alot. I need tires anyway do to a bad tie rod end (just fixed it a efw weeks ago but the damage was done).
