Drove by on Friday and plenty of folks were out ice fishing...

Then it's time to go slide.

I was out there before the solstice holiday and walked around on the ice - it might look dark and thin from the road but it is very solid. No worries about your car falling thru!

Also looks like it might have a good layer of snow by the time we get up there Friday which will make for some more interesting driving conditions.
