Questions for all, which would be better for more air inlet on the 2.7T, a reg. K&N filter or the CAIK through LLTek. I want to go the easist route, but also the better route. I have a K&N FIPK kit on my pickup and like it, but have also had a lot of little problems with it as well.

Also, have been looking at new diverter valves, would I be better with a straight diverter or the diverter/blow-off valves.

you should post in the A6 forum too.

that are proven to benefit the car. For the intake, an Evo Cold Air will be beneficial, and for diverter valves, Forge 007P valves maintain the closed system your 2.7T motor was intended to have. (I run both of these on my S4 that gets run very hard, on racetracks and frequent 1000 mile runs to the West coast).

what's the source for the EVO system, do you guys have them?

My curiosity on this is because I almost got spanked by a WRX on Sat. Not an STi, but a regular WRX, I could tell it had some upgrades, now I want some xtra power with out spending a whole lot.

the DV's will help you too in terms of holding boost. the CAI won't give you much in terms of performance, but it will give you a nice little "whoosh" BOV sound...or rather more like someone sneezing. but i don't know if you want this prolific sound on an A6, especially if you want more of a sleeper look.
