I need to replace my front bumper and was thinking of getting the European version that would fit a Euro front lic. plate. Was thinking of doing my real Colorado Lic. Plate number on it and of course have the "real" one in the car or dash.
You guys had any troubles getting pulled over w/ this combo?

I Don't recommend putting it on the dash, cops here look for that and then realize you don't have one on the front, furthermore, if you wreck the car and the air bag comes out that license plate might do some physical damage to you. I don't have my plate on mine got a warning once but he let me go. I told him those license plate brackets are hard to get direct from Germany.

If someone ever gives you problems just tell em you were on your way to/back from a car show and you forgot to put the real one back on. I don't know if it would work but that's what I am gonna use if I ever get in that situation.
