And side question. What PSI are you running your slicks at when you run? Thanks!

The ones at Coors field I'll probably try to make.

As far as the slicks, I always forget to check them in between laps but my best time at the last event I ran about 44 psi up front and 36 in the back. But I think if you want that back end to let loose a little you should air the back ones up a little more. I'm running Kumho Victoracers and they rule. If a tenth of a second means a lot to you then you can go for Hoosiers but significantly mo money. ColoradoMark should have some good input on this too. You've got the blue S4 correct?

Here I stole this from another post.
To find the best tire pressure for your car and driving style do the following:

"1) Get some chalk and put at least three lines on your tire from the tread to midway up the sidewall (perpendicular to the road) on each tire. (see the marks on my tires in the pic?)
2) Drive as hard as you feel comfortable around some corners (real or imaginary - don't forget potential emergency situations!) for ten to fifteen minutes (preferrably in a clean parking lot).
3) Check how much chalk you scrubbed off of each tire. Optimally, the chalk should be scrubbed off to where the sidewall and the shoulder of the tire tread meet.
3a) If you see chalk on the shoulder of the tread - there's too much pressure in the tire.
3b) If you've scrubbed chalk off of the sidewall - they're under-inflated.
4) Under NO circumstances should you inflate the tire above it's maximum loaded pressure (listed on the sidewall). [It's okay to go up to there though if you're autocrossing.]

Do this until you've found the best tire pressures for you're driving style.

Please note that A4's & A6's without competition suspensions are setup at the factory to UNDERSTEER. (That means the tendency to not want to turn into a corner at the edge of adhesion. AKA plowing, pushing, etc.) You should find that this means you should run higher pressures in the front than in the rear to balance the car (As Jim Selders accurately pointed out below!) "

That is one of my best friends though. I have the Gray 3.0. I have been autocrossing for over 3 years, just never in an Audi. I'm playing with the tires and pressures trying to do exactly what you are saying, "get the back end to come around." I have already got four Kuhmo's, and this time I am going to run all 4 of them, not just two. Thanks for all of the input. I'll see you up at the next Coors Field event. :o)

I plan on running on the 9th by the way I'm the one with the Nogaro (good friends with Chrisfast). Love to see Audi's out there.

right? Yeah I thought that was interesting with the front two Kuhmos and rear two stockers. Sounded like a good idea to me. I've already taken off my Kuhmos and put my winters back on the wheels (they're sharing right now). So if I do autocross I'm gonna try borrowing the wifes protege (H stock I guess). Yeah its great to see all these Audi's out there now. I love it. Yeah probably see ya at a winter event at Coors.
