towards a stage III?

I'm looking at going with an MTM Stage II when my warantee expires. I thought they were supposed to be more reliable at altitude etc. ;-)

Are you having it done at Champagne or Avalon?

TIA

I already have the stage I chip with stock exhaust. Larry said I should put in the K04. He said to expect maybe 5 or 10 more HP and a little more lag. The main reasons to go with a KO4 with in my situation are:
1) More durable than a K03
2) When I DO get an aftermarket exhaust, all I need is a chip exchange (no cost) and I'm at MTM stage II+, which should be about the same as an E36 M3 in a straght line.
I've been busier at work this week than any time in the last couple years, which explains my lack of posts....
Break-in is 500 miles, which I'll hit by Saturday night since we have a group drive Saturday down to Cripple Creek and back.

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident... But at least it has a happy ending!

Larry @ Champagne told me one time that the M3 is more like 180 hp here in Denver. Oh well, at least it handles well. 8^)

So there are no new manifolds anywere around here. A couple in NJ and a few in Canana. Larry and Brian found one to pull off a 1.8t in a salvage yard locally, have it in hand and should have me up and running by this time tomorrow. How's that for service?!
Talk about mixed emotions. I'm out big cash, but am very fortunate to have these guys on my side.

Pat, that is a huge bummer man! Of all the lousy luck that this had to happen now!

Major Kudos to Larry at Champagne if he can get it all done for you. I have been more and more impressed with him with every story I hear...

Start w/ a MTM cat-back or or something cheaper just to free up flow a bit..then once you can afford it do the DP and high flow cat...NOW you are talking...you car is going to sound like a sandblaster w/ the stock exhaust and KO4 (I would suspect)
