After a few very long weeks of waiting for that damn ship to arrive from Germany, it's here! I drove it down from Tacoma.. I was a little worried about the weather but it was a great drive overall..
I posted a few weeks ago that I was looking to meet a few people around here with Audi's as well.. I was thinking of going up to Broomfield and checking out autosportwerks in the morning (Sat) just for something to do..

I bought it about 1.5 years ago.. I suppose I like the 02' body a little better, but the 01' is still pretty sharp..
Can you guys recommend a good stereo shop that does custom installs? I went to a SoundTrack on Academy, but the guy was a true *salesman* if you know what I mean..

its by the mall on academy. to get to autosound, turn off of academy by where barnes and noble is..its back a little bit from there.

there is only one installer there that does good work and he charges way too much money and doesn't guarantee his work (personal experience). If you really want to get something custom installed, email me and i'll find the name of the guy i used.

The guy seemed much easier to talk to and a lot less like a salesman..
I got a Sony deck with a 10 GB HDD on it, which I thought was pretty sweet since my 10 disc skipped all the time.. For the amp I went with a 1000w R&F RFX6.. Two 12" R&F HX2 subs.. And finished with a cap to top it off..
The deck kicks major ass, it will burn a full CD in about 15 minutes to the HDD.. I'm pretty happy with the way the guys worked on the car...
I'd give them an 8/10 for the overall install/price..
Anyway, chipstar, plug1 you guys doing anything this weekend??
