I put my Greddy boost gauge into the car this morning. The MAP sensor is getting its signal from the manifold-to-wastegate line, and I've got the appropriate power/ignition on/ground/lighting connections made.
When the gauge arrived, it the needle was displaying full vacuum. Once I applied power to it, the needle jumped to 0, and once I hit the ignition, the needle was pegged at 2+ bar.
I've been able to get the gauge to zero one more time by applying either vacuum or pressure to the MAP sensor, but once I fire up the motor the needle pegs itself at 2+ bar again.
Anyone have any tips for me? I've contacted the guy I bought it from asking for poweron details, but I'm thinking that the MAP sensor may be toast.
Anyone care to comment?
Thanks
