If so, do you think it would be just as easy to do it through APR online and install it yourself without soddering it? They charge an $80 labor fee at Auto Werks, and I feel thats a ripoff considering I'm already paying $400 for the chip.

You take out your ECU and send it to APR.. Then they send it back to you with the chip soldered already in it...

I feel that knowing its done right is worth th extra $80.00 plus if you have problems with anything they are local to you to fix the problem

Is that aftermarket parts or did you paint the chrome yourself? I painted mine but driving in the mountains has chipped the paint off the chrome. Guess I didn't prime well enough. Guess I'll have it done professionally when snowboarding season is over.

I got hit so I took my car in to get it fixed and they painted the trim for free. They said that they filed the chrome down a lot so that the paint would stick. If you do that, the paint should stick pretty well. They said it would normally cost $50 to paint the trim. I don't think I posted a picture of my grille on the forum, where did you see my car?
