Trying to decide whether to chip my new '03 when the weather warms up, and which chip/features is best. The APR chipset looks like a good deal (assuming they support my engine part number) with lots of options and local dealers. I've also seen posts indicating other chipsets are available at local shops.

I'm interested in increased performance while maintaining the 1.8T's lifespan and reliability (and the warranty). Not really into pushing the chipping/boost envelope. I also don't want to spend much more than $2K total including exhaust until I've paid the car off. Long story short, it'll help me to actually hear about and experience as shotgun (if not driver ;) what the different chips are like.

I'm planning on attending the midnight drive, so I'll probably meet some of you chipfans then. Might have some free time or days off during next couple of weeks, so if anyone in the Boulder/Westminster area want's to show off their chipped car let me know.

How many miles have you put on your car with the APR chip in place? Any problems or regrets?
