I was not driving the A4, as the oil pressure idiot light had this nasty habit of coming on out of the blue. Turns out the car had an extended 'audi assured' warranty on it.

$150 to xfer the warranty to my name, and a $50 warranty fee later I have a new oil pump.

I can finally start thinking about some simple mods...
