View Full Version : Any Denver/Boulder "CHIPPED" 2002+ 1.8t's out there? Soks 10-02-2002, 01:01 PM Looking to Drive one before settling for a 1.8t over a 3.0. Zed 2.0 10-02-2002, 06:13 PM won't be THAT much different in the 02. Probably a little slower. jchull 10-02-2002, 06:31 PM but the ride will be quite different Soks 10-03-2002, 08:11 AM Where do you live? What horsepower rating do you have on your gen 1? Soks 10-03-2002, 08:13 AM You used to have a chip in your Gen 1? What do you mean the ride is much different - Between Gen1 and Gen2? Zed 2.0 10-03-2002, 08:50 AM especially with their fuel deliv "problems" Zed 2.0 10-03-2002, 08:52 AM I'm in boulder occasionally. Probably making around 205-210 hp and 260-270 lb/ft with a chip and exhaust. My car probably wouldn't be ideal to demo right now because I have a leftover coding issue from an old chip version that causes my power to cut off at 5500. Soks 10-03-2002, 12:01 PM jchull 10-03-2002, 12:37 PM x-chip is a GIAC chip. jchull 10-03-2002, 12:37 PM cranking out like 100 extra ft/lbs? Zed 2.0 10-03-2002, 01:19 PM chipstar-32 10-20-2002, 06:28 PM email me if you want a ride. i will gladly meet you somewhere if you like. Chip btw xchip is made my giac. it runs higher boost than regular. most chips are 1.0 bar, while the x is making 1.3-1.4. i spike around 21 and hold 17 easy. |
