....I'm a fairly new Audi owner (since January), and my car is a '93 100CSq sedan. I wondered what local opinions/experiences are with:
1. Ed Carroll's service dept.
2. J&M Precision
3. A&B Import
4. Other indy euro-car shops in the area?
(Of course, without any "over-the-top" comments, either pro or con)
I have experience with only one of the above (J&M) and so far, so good. BTW, I have no connection of any kind with any of the above, just an interested bystander/customer. I do most of the maintenance myself (except for tranny service and stuff like that).
Hope to hear from some of you local Audi folks,
TIA, Malcolm

I used Ed Carrol for warranty - they were OK but the service seemed to vary over time.

A&B imports was recommended by by BC Automotive
who I used for my 93 Jeep GC. BC was a very clean and excellent shop and did not work on Audi's, but I trust their recommendations.

J&M Automotive is one I have heard about. I believe they have been recommended to me by a friend.

European Motors on Riverside used by some friends for their Eurovan. Base on their recommendations my friend took her car into to there for some work. She was not pleased. I took her there to pick her car up. The place was very disorganized. I would not take my Audi there. You might check over at the S-car org and see if there are any recommendations there.

Ed Carroll, probably one of the better Audi dealers looking at other people's comments.
A&B: very good but they like to look for problems and will charge the book rate for a job so you can spend some $$'s. They used to do all the work on my SAAB 900T and have done some recent work on my son's 4000Q, have always trusted them and have seen few problems witht heir work.
