I just moved to Denver in March and my check engine light just came on (car then had trouble starting) and I have to take the car in. Prestige is where it is scheduled next week (Thursday) and I NEED the car back by the end of the day on Friday so I hope they can get it done. Are they fairly reliable or is it a crappy dealership. I know Braman (Palm Beach, FL) owns Prestige and Braman service is horrid, that's where I purchased the car, I hope Prestige is better. Any insites are appreciated.

My personal experience over the last few years is that Prestige has been significantly better than Stammler. I live in Boulder County, but drive the 30 miles to Prestige to avoid Stammler in Boulder.

Sure. You can take to any Audi dealer for service. My experience with Stammler was they didn't treat me well b/c I didn't buy from them. I didn't buy from Stammler for my second Audi either because they don't deal.

With out writing any lengthy anecdotes here, let me just say 'I've generally had better experiences at Prestige', but neither service department would I rate A+ and both have pissed me off at least once and both have gone above-and-beyond my expectations on occasion too, so ......

ASW is a private shop, not associated with Audi whatsoever :)

I was told they couldn't get me in for over TWO WEEKS when I had a bad temp sensor that occasionally caused a no start situation. When asked if I could just leave it so they could check it when they had time, the service writer showed me a 1/2" thick stack of invoices for cars that were waiting in front of me. Two other (potential) service customers were also turned away while I was there.

Out of frustration, I bought the sensor and replaced it myself in ten minutes. So much for new car warranties... Although their service is great WHEN you finally get in, I will probably never go back Stammler for sales or service.

if it is anywhere near as bad as their sales then STAY AWAY! I've never encountered such a pretentious bunch of sales flunkies and managers. Rather than have them "do me the favor" of selling me a car, I gave Prestige my 50k. I'll never go back, and encourage others to do the sameat every opportunity.

bad personal skills, but that's probably because they had to fix a wheel they scuffed (which they are doing without any real argument whatsoever).

Stammler doesn't have time for a 'lowly' A4.
