The Mrs. decided to have an affair with one of the lovely potholes we have here in L.A. which caused a crack in the inner lip which was just big enough to cause a lb/day air leak.
Tired of filling the tires with air every three days or so, I called well known Tru Wheel in North Hollywood and Wheels America in Sante Fe Springs. Both were equidistant from me. Tru Wheel wanted $175 and a two day turn around and WA wanted $150 with next day service. Not wanting to be on a donut while hauling two kids around, I went to Wheels America. They did as they promised; they repaired the crack, made sure the wheel was true and they refinished/repainted the wheel all within 24 hours. Not bad.
