If you plan on keeping your car for more than a couple of years (read; not leasing), I strongly recommend against doing this.
The fine gritty talcum powder like dust will permeate the engines electrical connections, the seals to the wheel bearings, suspension parts, the interior air filter and possibly even the engine oil....
