I have lived in OC for a little over a year now, having previously lived in LA. I have a 2000 Audi A4 I'm trying to sell but just picked up my black '06 S4! It's so much fun!
Is anyone competent at clear-cornering the B7 S4? And hard-wiring a V1? Pizza & beer included. =)
I can hopefully make some of the meet-ups, depends on how tired I am (I'm a teacher and school starts EARLY!).

Hola,
I've been on this site for quite some time as I have (and am currently selling) my 2000 A4 2.8. I got that car to exactly as I wanted: coilovers, wheels, e-codes, hardwired V1 and iPod, etc. but the opportunity for this '06 S4 presented itself and voila: I bought it.
Now for my questions (and I did searches but came up with some mixed answers; I apologize if this all has been beaten to death but I am new to this forum):
1. iPod integration. I've seen that DICE system that someone posted and that seems to be the best bet. It would be nice to see the track, album, and artist info on the Nav screen but I'll settle for all of my songs/playlists instead. Is this correct? That's the information that I gathered from the forums. Anything new? Any other installs? I have the Nav-Plus with Sirius (not that I'll use that) and a CD changer. It would be nice to keep the CD changer in use but if it's the iPod or CD, I choose iPod.
2. DRL. Does this car not have DRL? I thought the city lights were on all the time. They come on with the headlights but they are sinfully ugly next to the headlights. I need to change the bulbs. How do I get them on all the time?
3. Speaking of bulbs: what are the best/closest match to headlights for the fogs? Has anyone also replaced the lights both on the trunk lid (license plate) and the reverse lights? What bulbs are those?
4. Clear Corner. I actually did the DYI on the US spec xenons on my 2000 A4 before I got the e-codes BUT, I'm lame so it looked like crap. =) Are e-codes offered for this car? I can't seem to find them if they are. Is the DYI mod easy enough?
5. Hardwiring. I know for a fact that I can't hardwire a V1. I'm just challenged that way. I'll translate documents into Spanish for you and teach your kids how to do it too....but electrical stuff is Martian to me. Anyone in SoCal (Orange County is better yet) that can help with any of this?
Thanks a bunch! I do hope to put coilovers and the 19" RS4 reps on sooner than later...but we'll see. =)
