He only has one bay within another auto repair shop. Pay him a visit.

Jose Lopez worked for Mike Rooney and Ingolstadt West for many years, He was responsible for a lot of the "heavy" work. Jose decided to go iy on his own when Mike sold IW... He's very good with Audis and Bimmers, and and extremely nice person.

Another option for IW expatriots is Performance Plus, where you'll find Kevan Schneider, who also worked with Ingolstadt West for many years. He's been at Performance Plus with Mark and Andrew since leaving I.W. as well. Mark is very good and had always worked on my Porsche before I sold it. I believe Performance Plus has been there, (a block or so north of IW), for 27 years. Mike Rooney himself worked there at one time.

That said, Ian and Cristian of who folded AAS and took over at Ingolstadt West appear to be doing very well. I've had occasion to stop in a few times to collect things I'd left there, and answer a random performance question or two. The place is definitely cleaner, and busy too.

Jose is an awesome guy and does great work! I can't believe how little he charges. I took my A4 2.8Q in for new front brakes and rotors and a new driver-side rear wheel bearing. The price he quoted was really reasonable. In the process of replacing the wheel bearing the ABS sensor came apart. He replaced it and still only charged the price he originally quoted. I've never had another mechanic do that! Most would still charge for parts and labor on what they broke and had to replace. I could not give JL Automotive any higher recommendations.
