I <a href="http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1819531.phtml">posted</a> in the A4 forum but figured I might get some additional help here.

So I got rear ended last night in Santa Monica. It doesn't seem too bad though. I'm hoping it's no worse than having the bumper replaced and trunk repaired.

I've run a few searches here on the forums and came up with Avio Coach Craft and Golden Hammer as two quality shops. I just got back from getting an estimate at Avio, and I'm looking for some info on Golden Hammer. I was wondering if anyone else has other recommendations in the Santa Monica/WLA/Culver City/etc area? I'd like to get a few estimates, mainly to put my mind at ease that nothing major is wrong. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

you will probably get the same prices everywhere you go. If they are off in price make sure one place isnt repairing somthing another place didnt list as a repair.

Also you never know what could be damaged behind the bumper, and body shops never take the bumper off to inspect for a simple quote.
