WHats up,

I just moved to Santa Barbara, California and I need a competent, reliable and fairly reasonably priced independent shop to install my timing belt and all the associated parts. DOes anyone know of such a shop in the Santa Barbara area? And what does the labor on this project cost on average?

Sorry one more, i did a search on the timing belt kit i think i will buy the one from ECS Tuning anyone have any comments on this kit and should i go ahead and replace anything else while its there.

By the way i have a 98.5 1.8tqm with about 72,000miles

am an independent shop just opened last week
work last 8 years at audi am in the top 10 technicians in north america
you need to get timing belt,and the modification kit for the tensioner

you ,re looking around $600.00 labor and parts but not sure so better check with your dealer
if you want to drive to la i can do it for you
