Is anyone having a problem with their TT's fuel gauge?

My 2000 TTQ just started having problems with the fuel gauge. I suspect it may have to do with the "float" device in the tank. Tbelieve audi has had this problem in other models.

I can fill the tank and drive 200+ miles without the gauge moving. Then the next day the gauge appears to read just under half. It continues to "stick or fluctuate and if you do not monitor the miles you could run out of gas.

Has anyone heard of a recall?
