There is an old sports car club in Long Beach that puts on a special street rally every year. It is called St. Nix Trix. It is a navigational street rally. You are given a set of instructions and you follow them around, going by various checkpoints, until you reach the end. Usually around 3 to 4 hours long. You time is based on the error you have on reaching the checkpoints. The route is measured and based on the speed instructions, the route between the checkpoints should take you a certain amount of time. You can be either right on, early or late when you entered the checkpoint. That is your error. The winner has the lowest total error.

The team consists of a driver and navigator. The driver abviously drives and the navigator gives the driver instructions to follow.

There is one added feature to the Rally. It is call St. Nix Trix for a reason. It is designed to get you going in all sorts of the wrong directions. It is your job to stay on course.

If you get there before me, just tell them that Greg sent you. You may have to look for people in a group in the parking lot. Probably not too many sports cars will be there. It gets a little cold in those old sports cars.
