After 2 wks of cross country road trip, I've finally arrived here to the area! Stay'n at a long term hotel and will start work tmrw (Mon) @ Moffett Field.

Need suggestions on several immediate items:

Windshield replacement shop near Mt View? I got a stone induced crack while driving thru Wyoming. I have to call my insurance agent back in MD tmrw. (darn! have to find new insr company here as well, since Erie Ins doesn't cover CA)

A good wash n detail place? After driving 4000 mi, my A4 is in dire need of a good cleaning inside and out.

For windshield replace I would call someone like Safelite Auto Glass. Most of the places will come out to your place of work and replace right there. That has always worked out with me.

As for Carwash place I had good experience at Ducky's Carwash. I would say that Menlo Park would be the closest one to you.

want to have dinner Wednesday at Casa Lupe's in Sunnyvale? It is at the old Cherry Chase center at Bernardo and El Camino.
