although in the interest of not depleting your bank account i'm going to suggest consulting tru and katy, between those two they've been to nearly every spa in the bay area.
or something like that.

If she wants to do microdermabrasion, IPL, or other such treatments as maintenance, then ping me some time.

Have you ever done the four seasons?
Is this uber nice or just nice? Good bang for the buck? how were the treatments? How was the lunch?

and then I can send her off to the spa and go run around in town, while she does her thing, and then we do a dinner somewhere.

...scheuled for the wife second week of June, so I don't have personal feedback for you there. Gave as a MD present, so I was kind of in the same situation as you. Not sure what your frame is, but I can provide her feedback afterward, assuming you can wait that long. She is a spa guru, my Italian queen. ; )

in Saratoga. I've never gone for the entire day, but every time I've been there has been very enjoyable.

Harmonie Spa

right?
I mean, an all day would be good for a place that has a beautiful view of the ocean, or wilderness, or something...not one tucked away in a metropolitan mall.
I'm leaning more towards a massage/mani/pedi at one of the nicer spas you all recommend, but perhaps not an all day.
POLL: what do you guys think? Leave the "all day" spa days for a destination/vacation?

that everytime she sees she says, oh that's a nice car...and then asks me if it's the same car she's asked about before...and i reply yes, not an m coupe :)
Very unique Japanese setting, enzyme baths and full Swedish massage package and you can also do it as a couple, so get your metro on and pamper yourself Sia. FYI, I've never taken a woman up there who didn't absolutely love Osmosis, especially as distinct from all of the other pseudo-Eurostyle spas. However, if you must go Euro, then the Roman baths and health spa at the Sonoma Mission Inn are excellent as well.

Osmosis Spa
