I'm not surprised, lowballers..... I did a check on "completed auctions" and found that pretty much no one sells an S4 on eBay anymore... hmm..

Any ideas where to post it?

Did the classifieds here, not a single dingle damn bite. Have it on cars.com, again no bites.

Grrr.

I have an '07 S4, which is now bone stock with new brakes/ suspension/ wheels (took off the Stasis bits n pieces and aftermarket wheels). DTM Euro GmbH package, Nav, Bluetooth, Bose upgrade, paid for full maintenance package, carbon fiber trim and alcantara Recaros, blah blah all options.

Looking to clear in the very low $40K's for her. Have a ginormous lease to pay off to AFS to get out of this.... hmm.

If you know any interested people, please send them my way!

thanks
Christine

I'll do my best to think of some friends who might be interested.

If it's on a tow truck.

No, seriously I milk it to 19/ 20 mpg myself by drafting/ driving 55-60/ using 6th gear a LOT and only out-accelerating on onramps when necesary (read: ricer coming up on merging on-ramp, still must show who has more ponies hahah).

OK thanks for the publicity w/ friends on the car.

I'll give a pair of theatre tickets to one of our upcoming shows for TheatreWorks if you refer a friend who buys! OK maybe a set of season passes....no, they're not just "comps" I'm handing out, I pay for all tix except me & hubby....

a harder sell...

I had a fairly hard time selling our 1.8T Avant recently, but a buyer from WA came down and bought it...

;-) - good luck with the sale, the market for V8's sucks right now.

I've been bidding with ebay recently to pick up another vehicle, but since it's hard to rack up the bids to get it passed reserved, it always happens that the bid ends without the car getting sold, and the price is still about halfware of their reserve

Anyway, some of these dealers that sell the cars on ebay keep reposting it right after with a lower reserve. So prospective buyers (like me) just wait and see, since I know the same thing will happen.

Well sure enough, the same car I've been eyeing is on Ebay 4 times in a row now with a reserve price $6 lower than they originally started.

Good luck to him though, since I already picked one up this Saturday.

My point is, keep trying since there will be buyers out there. But don't get too desperate since the buyers will sense that and snag it when you "must" get rid of it.
