One of the hardest fought races in years!
First half of the race peugeot stayed out ahead, sometimes by a lap. Audi took the advantage when it started to rain (heh).

Quattro baby!!! 8th win in 9 starts! Congrats to all the drivers Rinaldo capello, Allen McNish, and Tom Kristensen for such a great race!

To be 5 seconds faster in qualifying is just staggering, for outright speed the Peugots have got the Audi's beat. However german effeciency prevailed with Audi's perfect pit stops and they took the lead. The French took 2nd and 3rd with a commanding lead over the other 2 Audi's.

I think we will see a new R10 soon, it's clear the newer Peugot's are faster and once they get their reliability down they will beat Audi (like they have been in the Le Mans endurance series in europe this year).

Oh, well, it's still fun watching it.

better fuel consumption they got meant less fuel stops. That's FSI for you!
