I tried to revive an old thread, but it seems maybe the site doesn't work the way it used to when I used it about 4 years ago... sorry if this ends up being a double post...

I'm trying to help someone find a trustworthy mechanic for his stock '99 A4 1.8TQM which until now has gone to a local dealer. He'd like someone to do the normal scheduled maintenance going forward, and also to look at an apparent power steering leak right now.

He is in Walnut Creek, and I saw one recommendation for a place in Walnut Creek but the post was several years ago. Can anybody make a current recommendation (or warning)?

read the other post until I saw brentwood, equidistant, opposite direction. Eddie has a mountain of experience, so I'll stay there.

When I get it back from the body shop, of course. Rear ended someone at a red, busted up the y pipe, tb covers. $6,500 and counting.
