for reason i'm not even sure of.
i haven't used it for anything besides just a yearly check up.
so i'm looking to switch to a different provider.
is kaiser the choice people like now a days?
i have a broker/adviser if you're able to shop around. used KP in the past and i never experienced any horror stories.

BEFORE you leave Blue Cross be absolutely sure that another health insurer will give you coverage.
FYI, my monthly bill from KP increased 75% the year I turned 41, for no other reason than the fact that I wasn't 40 anymore.

Kaiser is very hard to beat... My Employer also has Blue Cross, it covers a lot less and costs about $400/month MORE than Kaiser, and 5 times the deductible.
another thing you might want to look into with Kaiser, is that they also offer a "High Deductable" plan... my employer also has it, it's about half the price (Think it's about $400/mo under our plan), and you pay full out-of-pocket up to a maximum per year. IE: It's $2000/personal, and $4000/Family. So once you hit that level, you pay nothing. It's a gamble, but can save a ton of $$$ if you are generally healthy... but still covers you if things go really bad.
