I didn't get to the honor of meeting the infamous George Demar in person. boohoo! Next time, I won't be shy and look for him!
They treated me like a queen!
Wish they didn't have to be so good at what they do and not finish my car on time, so I can galavant in the 2.0T avant all weekend. But it's all goody!
Thanks to Roger (and Cal too) for helping me out!

you got a loaner :)...wonder if it was the same 1 i got. 2.0t, white avant, non sports susp, with small nic on rear left bumper (i didn't put it there)...
was wishing i could rip through it over the weekend as well but they finished my 40k fairly fast. even replaced clutch, recalled fuel filter, and sunroof switch--and i brought it in there at 10am.
at 50k, i'm going to bring it in at 1pm and ask for an RS4 or a porche loaner :)

yups thats the same avant i got!
brought in my car at 730am and got a vm from roger at 430P. i was hoping i wouldn't get "the call" i shoulda told them not to be so efficient. hehehehe
replaced clutch? whoah?
i just had the 40K done
fuel thingy recall
sunroof thingie
headlight knob replaced (wearing off)
and my stereo is on order - mine is possessed - it regurgitates cds even after the power to the car and the stereo is off.
oh my brakes were squealing...in fact, they are still squealing. hmmmm.

clutch wasn't that far gone but i was "advised" at my 30k service that the clutch can be replaced at next visit if i "complained about it". was told that it was catching a little high. i'm sure it was still decent and could have got at least 8-10k but hell, might as well.
forgot to mention they also changed my front brakes as well--was told they'd flush the brake fluid as well since i was doing brake work. not sure if it was tho. never suffered squealing. might have to resurface rotors?

wow, they did a lot of major work on your car.
my squealing was supposedly due to dirt and dust...and they cleaned it, but it's still squealing. it's kinda annoying that everytime i brake, i hear it squealing. oh wells! i wonder when it will subside. i'm at 6mm right now...only 1mm to go before they replace my rear brakes..

Whats it take to get a loaner. I never have gotten one. It's been the Shuttle or the hiaway. Have 45k service due on A6 soon.

To those of my customers who have called, looking for me at my previous place of employment, and have been told that I have retired to work in the music field ... I have, in fact, retired from the dealer in south bay, but I'm now at Rector Motor Car Company in Burlingame, continuing my 20+ year career in this business and singing a better song!
Come see me at Rector Audi to experience a higher caliber of service. The past 8 weeks have been a great experience. I thank those of you who have driven the extra mile to see me, and I look forward to seeing more of you.
I am very pleased with the way things are run here at Rector, from top to bottom. If you are skeptical, give me a chance to prove it.
Lastly, I realize this is not the place for advertising and that is not my intention, but I wanted speak for myself when it comes to my recent departure.
Sincerely,
George DeMar II
