I'm getting a cat-back exhaust for my 2005 S4 and want some recommendations on where to get the work done? If I recall correctly there was a good shop in Berkeley that I've seen mentioned but I can't remember the name.

Work in Oakland, live in Pleasanton. Audi of Oakland won't do it.

Thanks!

They do most of my 4 wheel alignments..Brandon Kraus is very good. They do lots of race car prep stuff...and I think their rates are decent. Highly recommended.

Emailed both Griffen and Kraus to get quotes.

Thanks again.

I spoke with Terry and he said that the build quality of the Neuspeed is worlds better than that on the Milltek.

Anyone heard both, and have opinions about the sound quality?

He installed an MTM exhaust that I sold to a friend. Emmanuel does great work and he's been around for quite some time. He also installed my B&B exhaust on my Denali and a custom resonator back system on my xB. He also installed a GHL exhaust on another AW member's A4.

To top it off, his prices are very reasonable, and he'll let you stand around gawk while he does the work.

unpretentious shop, unpretentious owner, but damn he knows his exhausts and is quite an enthusiast (more into bikes than cars as a hobby, though). and did a great job weld-installing my Borla.

he used non-stainless welding materials on my stainless Stromung. Also did a fairly sloppy job with the welds.
