My fiancee and I had a lot of fun. The Q7 is *very* nice. It doesn't handle like a boat. We test drove the Volvo V8 C90 on the prepped track - what a difference.

The A3 3.2 S-Line is a lot of fun.

The RS4 "hot lap" - I was very impressed. I've been in a Stage 3 S4 and the RS4 doesn't compare in terms of torque, but the handling for the stock car is sublime. I asked the driver if he felt any brake fade and he said no, but maybe I should have asked him after 5 hours of zipping around that small parking lot...

The staff were friendly. Food was good. And best of all, it was all free. If Audi's goal was to push brand recognition and the Q7, they succeeded in my book.

They didn't explain that you would only get 3 punches.

1st one has to be the Q7.... (so 2 left) Went to the other lot and they say that we can take 2 laps / car and drive 2 cars. Sounds like we get 4 laps. That was also incorrect because it was only 1 lap / car. Came back to the RS4 and waited in line for the RS4 then I wasn't allowed to take the 7 sec hot lap. :(

to really get a feel for the cars. The Q7 should do well, not my type of car.... The A3 was very fun and nice, but it is a little too expensive. ML

...please email Stephen Berkov with your comments at stephen.berkov@audi.com. He is the director of marketing and is responsible for putting on this event. This will help ensure more events like this in the future.

Thanks!

coffee table book "Sharing a Singular Vivison". I already got this book when I bought my car - it's a nice hardcover book that talked about core technologies of Audi - back in 2000. One of those technologies was turbocharging...
