Anyone here has experience with Kovacs Motors? It's only a couple of miles from my place. Would prefer if the install can be done on a Saturday. What would be a fair price for both the front and rear install?

Adam's a great guy (doesn't bull**** all day like Griffin), and has taken very good care of my car since I switched over to him from Griffin about a year ago. Most recently, I had him fix 4 oil leaks and replace the timing belt & water pump.

Worth checking out, esp since they're close to home.

I think Mobrazen's also used them before - he recommended them to me.

did you pay for the timing belt/water pump change?

he pulled the engine to fix those, then just charged the parts (no labor) to do the pump & belt (I wasn't planning on changing those so soon, but since he already had the engine pulled, he figured it would be a good time).

The total for the job was somewhere around $1500, IIRC.
